Produced between 1964 and 1975, the MF 165 sat at the heart of the iconic 100 Series range, with nearly 200,000 units manufactured globally to meet massive international demand. Assembled at major plants including Banner Lane in Coventry, UK, as well as facilities in the USA, France, Argentina, Australia, and India, the 165 was built for heavier field work, baling, and heavy transport. Thanks to its rugged engineering and bulletproof reliability, thousands of these tractors remained everyday workhorses on British farms well into the 1980s and 1990s, and they remain a favourite sight on preserved heritage lines and rural rallies today.
