Welcome to Firebox Models. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products from our online store. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Company Information

This website is operated by Firebox Models. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Firebox Models and our parent brand, N Gauge Models Ltd.

2. Product Safety & Intended Use Notice (Crucial)

Please read this section carefully before purchasing or compiling our models:

• Adult Hobbyist Products Only: All models, scenery pieces, and accessories manufactured or sold by Firebox Models are intended strictly for adult collectors and hobbyists (recommended age 14+).

• Not Toys: Due to our high-precision manufacturing techniques down to 0.02mm accuracy, our models contain fine, intricate details. These parts can be sharp, fragile, and pose a severe choking hazard. They are not suitable for children.

• Material Handling & Safety: Our models are supplied as raw physical canvases. If you choose to sand, cut, prime, paint, or apply weathering chemicals to our models, you do so at your own risk. We highly recommend working in a well-ventilated space and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a dust mask and safety glasses, when modifying any model.

3. Accuracy of Product Information

We make every effort to display the dimensions, scales, and ratios (1:148, 1:160, 1:120, 1:87, 1:76) of our models as accurately as possible. However, because our models focus entirely on unpainted, raw physical detail, minor surface variations inherent to advanced production processes may occur. These are not considered manufacturing defects but are a standard characteristic of raw modelling materials.

4. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in GBP (£) and are subject to change without notice.

• Payment must be made in full at the time of placing an order via our secure online checkout.

• International Orders: For countries outside the UK, prices do not include local import taxes, customs tariffs, or carrier handling fees. These are the sole responsibility of the buyer. (Please see our Shipping Page for full international tariff terms).

5. Order Cancellations & EU Restrictions

• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. If we cancel an order (for example, due to stock inaccuracies or territorial shipping blocks), we will notify you via email and issue a full refund immediately.

• EU/EEA/NI Restriction: Due to strict EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) frameworks, we cannot fulfill orders to the EU, EEA, or Northern Ireland. Any orders placed from these restricted territories will be automatically cancelled and refunded.

6. Intellectual Property

All designs, 3D models, digital files, prototypes, images, and text displayed on this website are the intellectual property of Firebox Models (N Gauge Models Ltd). Purchasing a physical model does not grant the buyer the right to recast, duplicate, 3D scan, or commercially reproduce our designs. Legal action will be pursued against any copyright infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

Firebox Models shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the misuse of our products, improper modification of our models, or injuries sustained while handling delicate scale components.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

• Marketing (Optional): If you actively opt-in to our newsletter, we may send you occasional workbench updates regarding new 2026 releases or scale additions. You can unsubscribe at any time.

• Shipping Carriers: Royal Mail (to fulfill your trackable shipping rates).
