About the Tractor

Introduced in 1990, the Ford 8630 was part of Ford's renowned 30-Series tractor range, designed to deliver exceptional pulling power, operator comfort, and versatility for demanding agricultural work.

Equipped with Ford's comfortable Super-Q cab, advanced Funk Powershift transmission, and a powerful turbocharged six-cylinder engine, the 8630 became a respected machine among farmers and contractors. Its distinctive Ford blue finish, imposing rear wheels, and rugged construction made it a familiar sight across agricultural landscapes throughout the 1990s and beyond.

Today, the Ford 8630 remains a favourite among classic tractor enthusiasts, making it an excellent addition to realistic agricultural modelling scenes.

Optional High Clearance Trailer

This model is also available with an Optional High Clearance Trailer, offering even greater versatility for your miniature farm and countryside layouts.

The trailer has been thoughtfully designed to allow several realistic display options:

• Attached to the Tractor: Position the trailer on the tractor's hitch, with the front support brace raised slightly above ground level.

• Parked or Stored Separately: Display the trailer independently in a farmyard, machinery shed, or storage area.

• Hitching-Up Scenes: Create realistic agricultural working scenes with the trailer positioned ready to be connected.

• Double Trailer / Road Train Setup: Connect two trailers together to create a longer agricultural transport combination. Simply add a second separate trailer to your cart to achieve this setup.

For permanent towing displays, the front trailer support brace can also be carefully snipped off if preferred.

Designed with Modellers in Mind

Some of the finer tractor components have been slightly strengthened for improved durability, helping to prevent delicate parts from becoming too fragile while retaining the model's authentic appearance and intricate detailing.

Whether you're recreating a busy 1990s farmyard, a modern working farm, or a classic agricultural machinery collection, this Ford 8630 tractor miniature with optional high clearance trailer makes a fantastic addition to your layout.

Please choose your preferred tractor and trailer option from the dropdown list provided before ordering.
